MWD Corporate News:

April 2009 - MWD receives multiple awards form Bureau of Workers Compensation for calendar year 2008. MWD received 3 awards from Bureau of Workers Compensation "Group", "100%" and "Special".

• Group Award - lowest incident rate in each group;
• 100% Award - zero injuries or illnesses resulting in a day or more away from work in the previous calendar year;
• Special Award - at least 500,000 hours and at least six months without an injury resulting in a day or more away from work.

MWD's "Special Award" was for the period from 08/02/05 - 12/31/08 with 1,329,177 hours worked without an injury resulting in a day or more away from work.

October 2008 - MWD opens new facility in Pittston, Pennsylvania. MWD is proud to announce the opening of their newest facility. The Pittston facility offers our customers access to storage in the New England states.

September 2008 - MWD opens new facility in Chicago, IL. MWD is proud to announce the opening of their newest facility. The Chicago facility offers our customers access to storage in the heart of the Midwest.

August 2008 - MWD opens new facility in Atlanta, GA. MWD is proud to announce the opening of their newest facility. The Atlanta facility offers our customers access to storage space in the middle of the east coast and more access to southern states.

July 2008 - MWD promotes Paul Kistner to Senior Vice-President of Operations. Paul has a bachelor's degree from Xavier and more than 27 years Trucking Sales, Terminal Management and Warehousing. Paul was previously VP of Operations with MWD.

MWD hires Robert Mills as the new Vice-President of Operations. Robert has a bachelor's degree from Ashland University and a Masters in Business Administration from Tiffin University. Robert has more than 20 years of experience in Manufacturing and Distribution and was previously a Plant Manager for a sizable Ohio auto parts manufacturer.

June 2008 - MWD promotes Chris Laux as the new Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. Chris has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Wofford College and over 20 years of experience in Sales. Chris was previously a Sales Account Manager with MWD.

May 2008 - MWD opens new facility in Ontario, Ohio. MWD is proud to announce the opening of their newest facility. The Ontario facility offers our customers access to an additional 100,000 square feet of storage space. This facility also offers an additional rail site for those customers who wish to utilize it. Easy access to State Route 30 and Interstate 71.
